Now many websites use spam links to improve the ranking which is not a surprising thing, blog or forum blasts backlinks, even if they are detected, the search engine will be more cautious in dealing with it, because it is difficult to determine who did the bulk. We don't know whether some people did this to frame competitors, this made a lot of spam links, when the search engine make a judgment, it is hard work, so how to identify and deal with spam links is a headache.
Google has submited a patent file which has been approved, the title: the method to detect spam links in mutual linked data is to study how to detect and deal with spam links. Patent specifically mentioned two types of link farms, one is to create a lot of the sites, the purpose is commonly connected to a main site, improving the main site's ranking. Another link farm is a bunch of site cross-linked among each other. So when we are doing the spam links, pay special attention to these issues.
We can take some necessary measures to prevent the search engine to determine whether a website link is link farm or not.
